    Hoe gaat het bij… YellowChips?

    Yellow Chips, een chips producent uit Emmeloord, werd enthousiast bij de aftrap van WVLO in januari 2019. Het bedrijf zag meteen kansen voor de ontwikkeling naar een lerende organisatie. Door hun medewerkers meer te betrekken en hun kracht in te zetten, wilden de chipsmakers een kwaliteitsverbetering bereiken. Er werd een bezoek bij de WVLO-partner Royal Steensma gepland om te zien hoe de ontwikkeling van de wendbare vakman en de lerende organisatie daar in z’n werk ging.

    Ondersteund door de Yellow Chips directie en de WVLO maakten de teamleiders het uitvoeringsplan en werden zelf eigenaar en drager van het plan. De teams werden begeleid in het opzetten van zelfgekozen verbeterplannen, teamleiders worden gecoacht in hun rol. In workshops, waaraan iedereen deel kan nemen, wordt gewerkt aan kennisvergroting, passend bij de verbeterplannen.

    De teamleiders namen het voortouw bij de verbeterplannen en onderwerpen om hun medewerkers te ontwikkelen tot wendbaar vakman. De bijeenkomsten die een keer per veertien dagen plaats vinden, bieden ruimte voor het uitwisselen van ideeën en het werken kleinere werkgroepen. Op de manier kunnen verschillende problemen en uitdagingen efficiënt besproken werden. De medewerkers werden gestimuleerd ‘out of the box’ te denken, ze hadden er allemaal zin in!
